Etacts Inc., a Palo Alto, CA-based start up which is developing a tool to manage e-mail and phone contacts, has closed a $650,000 seed funding round.
According to reports, investors include Ron Conway’s SV Angel, Eric Hahn, Joshua Schachter, Jim Young, Barney Pell, Lorenzo Thione, Jawed Karim, Ashton Kutcher, Robby Walker, Wayne Crosby, and Irene Pedrazza.
The tool offered by Etacts imports emails and phone records in order to analyze which contact is important to the user. It provides information about those who email the user, including a log of recent conversations, a graph of contact history over time, the number of emails and calls to and from the person, and their information from other services, including Facebook and LinkedIn.
