General Compression, Inc., a Newton, Massachusetts-based company developing an innovative compressed air energy storage system, has closed a $3m Series A financing. Investors include the Northwater Intellectual Property Fund, managed by Northwater Capital Management.
This investment follows a recent financing in February that included US Renewables Group and Duke Energy, and increases the total Series A round to $20.9m.
