Domain Invest Raises €6.2M

Domain Invest SA, a Luxembourg-based internet domain name monetization company, has raised approximately €6.2m in a funding round led by media development fund Iris Capital.

Investors also include two undisclosed partners, who join existing backers BIP Investment Partners, Société Nationale de Crédit et d’Investissement, the company’s management team and individuals.

Following the transaction, DI SA holds a capital of about €18m, which will enable the company to continue to pursue its domains acquisition policy. DI SA’s portfolio currently includes more than 100,000 domains, each of them attracting visitors and generating income by advertising and affiliation.

The company was founded in 2007 by Xavier Buck, the current Executive Chairman, and Managing Directors Frederick Schiwek and Markus Schnermann.
