ENCare, a Kista, Sweden-based MedTech company that offers products to improve perioperative care, has raised SEK 2m from Sting Capital.
The venture capital firm had already invested SEK 4.5m in the company earlier this year.
ENCare is developing a web based software that supports surgical clinics to implement and maintain ERAS®, a structured program developed by an international group of leading researchers to improve quality and efficiency within perioperative care.
Combined with training, the usage of the software results in positive effects including less complications for the patients, as well as shortened hospital stay by 30%.
