Termoindustriale SpA, a Santa Vittoria d’Alba (CN), Italy-based company focused on the design and construction of cogeneration and tri-generation power plants from renewable sources, particularly from liquid biomass, has been acquired by funds managed by private equity firm Argos Soditic.
The investment, a full-equity Management Buy Out transaction of undiscosed amount, aims to support a significant business development plan.
In order to boost the company’s growth, Argos Soditic will also provide an international network of business contacts and appoint senior members of the Board of Directors.
The funds managed by Argos Soditic have been accompanied in the acquisition by the company’s management, including CEO Walter Brovia and two other key managers Giacomo Viberti and Walter Capponi, which acquired a 30% stake.
