1-800-DENTIST®, a nationwide dentist referral service, received an investment of undisclosed amount from Cue Ball Capital and Bain Capital Ventures.
The investment, which is intended to enable Los Angleles-based 1-800-DENTIST® to accelerate its growth process, will allow the company to acquire Dental Senders™, a patient marketing and digital communications product for dental practices and consequently offer a complete suite of marketing services to dental practices.
1-800-DENTIST® is currently contacted by its consumers in its 24/7 call center and via their websites 1800dentist.com, dentalreferral.com and dentistry.com. Parent companies today include Futuredontics, Inc., Dental Senders™ and GoAskFred.com™.
In conjunction with the investment, David Shaffer, a renowned industry leader in information media and an investor member of Cue Ball’s collective, is joining the company as the new Executive Chairman.
