Altruja.de, a Munich, Germany-based provider of social fundraising software, has received seed funding of undisclosed amount from High-Tech Gründerfonds, Seedfonds Bayern and Extorel.
Business angels Dr. Hellmut Kirchner and Dr. Manfred Ferber are also participated in the round.
Possible applications of the solution range from one-off campaigns to special-occasion fundraising events, celebrity campaigns, sports team events and through to partnership models as well as corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
In addition, Altruja has closed a partnership agreement to make its software integrated in the amiando AG’s online booking system, available to currently more than 100,000 events involving fundraising.
Founded in March 2010, the business has grown from having three employees to twelve.
Organisations including UNESCO, Aktion Deutschland Hilft, and many regional charities have already managed their campaigns via the company’s online tool.
