Community Energy, Inc., a Radnor, PA-based renewable energy developer and marketer, completed a Series A financing. The round was led by SJF Ventures, which committed $4m with an option to invest another $2m, and NGP Energy Technology Partners.
The investment will fund the company’s plan to expand its pipeline of utility scale solar generation projects under development in the Northeast, Mid-West, and West.
In conjunction with the financing, David Kirkpatrick, Managing Director of SJF Ventures, has joined Community Energy’s board of directors.
