goby.com, a Boston, MA-based search engine designed to help people find things to do with their free time, has closed a $2.5m extension of its Series A funding.Investors include Flybridge Capital Partners and Kepha Partners.
This extension brings the total amount raised by the company to date to $7.5m.
This additional funding will help the company integrate and advance goby.com and its portfolio of mobile apps, which were launched for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android earlier this year.
In addition to expanding mobile application development and continuing to enhance and improve the user experience online, goby will use a portion of the funding to expand sales and marketing efforts.
