nfon AG, a Munich, Germany-based provider of outsourced telephone systems, has raised €4m in additional funding.
Investors include existing backers High-Tech Gründerfonds, Earlybird Venture Capital GmbH &Co. KG, MIG Fonds, Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft and the company’s management.
nfon intends to use the funds to expand its distributor channel through a partner programme. The company, which has already signed over 100 new distributors since June 2010, expects to increase indirect sales to more than half of its revenues as early as mid-2011. To date the figure is under 18% percent.
nfon’s outsourced telephone systems, called IP Centrex, are offered as a complete package from a single source. Operated by a fully redundant, high-performance computer centre and with more than 100 functions, the solution is designed to enable companies of all sizes to save up to 50% percent of the costs for a conventional phone system.
