Miso Media, a Los Angeles, CA-based developer of a mobile application that enables users to learn guitar, has closed a seed financing.
The round was led by Google Ventures, with participation from Keith Rabois, Laura Ziskin, and other angel investors.
The company intends to use the capital to expand and improve the application with a larger library of songs, a structured learning system, improved technology, and new software products for different platforms and instruments.
Miso Music for iOS provides users with an innovative approach to learning guitar and ukulele. Its patent-pending learning system uses a note detection technology that listens for the correct note and delivers real time feedback.
