Shoutlet, a Madison, WI-based provider of a social media management platform, has raised $6m in Series B funding.
The round, which was led by American Family Insurance, with participation of existing investors, Origin Ventures and Leo Capital Holdings.
The company intends to use the funds to support its product development plans.
The Shoutlet enterprise-wide social media platform is designed to give brands and agencies the tools to create, manage, and measure their entire social media communications.
It incorporates Facebook and Twitter management, Social CRM, and widget building to leverage promotions, coupons and sweepstakes. Additionally, the platform enables mobile marketing, social commerce, and real-time analytics.
Clients include Perry Ellis, Rayovac, and True Religion Jeans.
