Baynote, a San Jose, Calif.-based provider of personalization and digital marketing optimization solutions, announced has closed $13m in Series C financing.
The round was led by SingTel Innov8, the corporate venture arm of the SingTel Group, with participation from existing investors Hummer Winblad, Steamboat Ventures and JK&B Capital.
The company intends to use the new capital, which brings total funding raised by Baynote to over $28m, will be used to advance the entrance into new industries, including telecommunications and financial services, accelerate product innovation and expand marketing efforts worldwide.
Baynote, which also named former SAP executive Doug Merritt as president and CEO, has developed an Adaptive Web Suite™ that is designed to automatically optimize and adapt the online experience, leading to increased conversions, revenue and loyalty.
Customers include AT&T, CA, Dell, Expedia, Intuit, Fox, Urban Outfitters and VEVO.
Founded by chairman Jack Jia, the company operates additional offices in the U.K. and Germany.
