ClearRisk, Inc., a St. John’s, NL, Canada-based company that provides web based risk management solutions for the insurance industry and small to medium size enterprises, has raised $1m from GrowthWorks Atlantic Venture Fund.ClearRisk intends to use the funds to expand their sales efforts to reach a greater segment of their target market.
Led by President and CEO Craig Rowe, the company offers three solutions including:
– a platform to build risk management plans (ClearRisk™ Manager),
– a software built for municipalities and the mid-market that allows them to manage insurance claims, exposures, incidents and policies (ClearRisk™ Tracker)
– an online risk management training program designed to help SMB employees, managers and owners to improve their awareness and management of risk (ClearRisk™ Trainer).
