DynamicOps, a Burlington, MA-based provider of private cloud automation software, has closed an $11m Series B venture funding round.
The round was led by Sierra Ventures, with participation from Next World Capital, which joined Credit Suisse’s Next II venture group in ownership.
The company intends to use the capital to expand global sales, marketing and development efforts for its private cloud automation solutions. The DynamicOps Cloud Automation Center (DCAC) platform is designed to provide enterprises with automated delivery and management of on-demand IT services, while controlling and reducing operational costs.
The company also added industry veterans Les Yetton as Chief Marketing Officer, and Paul Silver as VP of Sales, Europe. Led by CEO Rich Krueger, DynamicOps also operates an office in London.
In conjunction with the close, Mark Fernandes, Managing Director of Sierra Ventures, joined the company’s board of directors.
