Primadesk, Inc., a Novato, Calif.-based provider of personal content management solutions, has raised funds from Citrix Startup Accelerator.
Founded in 2009, Primadesk helps users search, manage and backup their personal cloud data from any browser and device (a personal computer, tablet or smartphone) they use. Its technology is currently in beta version.
Commenting on the funding, Srinivasa Venkataraman, CEO & Founder of the company, said: “Primadesk gives users a simple way to manage their personal and professional information from any browser at any time, which fits right into the Citrix vision of enabling anyone to work and play anywhere on any device”.
Citrix Startup Accelerator is a Silicon Valley-based seed investment initiative launched in December 2010 by Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CTXS), which provides participating companies with funding, mentoring, office space in an open innovation center and access to the global Citrix ecosystem.
