DBL Investors, a San Francisco, CA-based venture capital firm, has closed its second fund at $140m.
The fund will focus on cleantech, IT, health care, and sustainability-oriented products and services concentrating on investing in companies in the western United States.
Spun out of JP Morgan in 2008, DBL Investors has a team including Managing Partners Nancy E. Pfund, Cynthia Ringo, Seth Miller, Mark Perutz and Carol Wong.
Investments from its $75m first fund, the Bay Area Equity Fund I that closed in 2004, include Powerlight, Tesla Motors, SolarCity, Brightsource Energy, Pandora Media, Revolution Foods, and eMeter.
