Localytics, a Cambridge, MA-based developer of a real-time mobile app analytics platform that provides app publishers for iPhone, iPad, Android, BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7 with the tools to improve their apps, closed a Series A funding round of undisclosed amount.
The investment was led by existing shareholders Launchpad Venture Group and New York Angels, with participation from new backer Hub Angels.
The company intends to use the funds to increase sales capacity for its existing enterprise-level customers, and to expand offerings to mid-market publishers.
Led by CEO Raj Aggarwal, Localytics support publishers of smartphone and tablet applications in making their apps more successful and profitable through real-time information, dynamic analysis and actionable insights.
The company has just launched its Premium platform, which is available for $95 per month to customers with Android, BlackBerry, iPad, iPhone and Windows Phone 7 applications.
