TinyCo, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of iOS and Android games, has launched a $5m fund.
The TinyFund aims to provide mobile game developers around the world with up to $500,000 per each paid and free title created and played on iPhone, iPad or Android.
In addition, the fund will offer marketing, development and business assistance as needed.
Developers can submit their proposals related to games of all stages of development, from early concepts to completed games at www.tinyco.com/tinyfund. Recipients will be announced in the third quarter of 2011.
Founded in 2009 and led by CEO Suli Ali, TinyCo has launched five iOS games including hits Tiny Chef, Tiny Zoo and Tap Resort The company recently closed an $18m funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz.
