Mind Shaper Technologies Private Ltd (which trades as Classteacher Learning Systems), a Gurgaon, India-based provider of K-12 educational content across the country, has received an up to $15m Fidelity Growth Partners India (FGPI).
With the investment, FGPI acquired a significant minority stake in the company.
Classteacher Learning Systems intends to use the proceeds to further its product portfolio and expand into new segments of education.
Led by CEO, Mr. Rohit Pande, Classteacher Learning Systems, the company offers an integrated solution to assist teaching in classrooms using software, hardware and school support services.
The company has a large repository of digital education content with about 85,000 teaching modules, 500 schools and 0.5 million studentsmapped to multiple education boards.
In congiunction with the funding, Mr. Kabir Narang and Mr. Raul Rai of FIL Capital Advisors (India), the private equity advisory arm for FGPI, will join the board of the company.
