Gizmox, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based developer of a visual web, cloud and mobile delivery platform, has received a strategic investment of undisclosed amount from Citrix Systems (Nasdaq: CTXS).
As part of the investment, Gizmox and Citrix are working together to enable enterprises to deliver existing and new applications to HTML5-enabled devices.
Visual WebGui technology enables data-centric enterprise applications to build, migrate and run on HTML5 Web, Cloud and Mobile platforms, removing the Ajax complexities and network limitations. It enables applications of any size and weight to be used on desktop, web, cloud and mobile.
In 3 years, It has more than 1m downloads of its software and over 35,000 VWG applications that are already in production, at first tier organizations such as SAP, IBM, Visa, Thomson Reuters, Shell, Texas Instruments, Good Year and major banks, medical, government and military institutions.
Gizmox is led by CEO Navot Peled.
