Macheen Inc., an Austin, Texas-based global cloud service provider for connected devices, has closed a $10m Series B financing.
The round was led by North Bridge Venture Capital, with participation from existing investors inculding DFJ Mercury, Tom Meredith, Mike Maples Sr. and Yechiam Yemini.
In conjunction with the funding, Basil Horangic partner at North Bridge, will join the company’s Board of Directors.
Led by President and CEO Richard Schwartz, Macheen enables device makers and electronics retailers to deliver Internet connectivity. The company has services active in different continents and has a wholly owned subsidiary in Germany (Macheen GmbH).
