Venture capital firm Nauta Capital has held the final close of its third fund at $150m.
Nauta III, which already has 7 portfolio companies (Abiquo, Groupalia, and Yuilop in Spain; Cluster Mobile in the USA; and Flirtomatic, Basekit and Site Intelligence in the UK) that were invested in 2010 and so far in 2011, aims to invest in a total of approximately 20 companies during 2011 and 2012.
The firm makes investments between $0.7m and $10m in companies in the technology sector, with an average size of $7M per operation. It targets Western Europe and US-based companies providing seed and venture capital. Its current portfolio include 20 companies across the Mobile/Telecommunications, Enterprise Software/Security and e-Commerce/Internet sectors.
Nauta has offices in Europe (Barcelona) and the US (Boston).
