drchrono, a Mountain View, CA-based free Electronic Health Record platform on the iPad, has closed a $675,000 seed funding round.
Investors include General Catalyst, Charles River Ventures, 500 Startups, Gmail creator and FriendFeed cofounder Paul Buchheit, Google’s Principal Engineer Matt Cutts, and the Start Fund (Yuri Milner and SV Angel).
Led by CEO Michael Nusimow and cofounder and COO Daniel Kivatinos, drchrono is a free healthcare EHR platform built on the iPad, which handles medical records, electronic prescribing, medical billing, and patient management. It also offers integrated real-time medical speech to text technology.
