Industry Ventures, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm, has closed a $400m secondary fund.
Industry Ventures Fund VI, which adds to the $155m Special Opportunities Fund recently closed, focuses on providing liquidity alternatives for venture capital and technology growth equity investments.
Fund VI will invest in secondary direct, limited partnership interests and other special situations to inject liquidity into the venture capital ecosystem works closely with management teams, founders, angel investors, financial institutions, hedge funds, venture capital firms, corporate venture funds and family offices.
Founded in 2000 by Managing Director Hans Swildens, Industry Ventures has offices in Washington D.C.
Capstone Partners acted as placement agent for Fund VI.
