Metago, a Atlanta, Georgia-based developer of a file management application, has closed a $550k Series A financing with Kii Capital.
The company intends to use the funding to expand its ASTRO product line including a new cloud-based product, and enhance the ASTRO File Manager.
ASTRO allows users to manage files on a PC. Users can cut, copy, paste and backup files (such as pictures, music, documents, videos and others) or apps to an SD card.
The apps from Metago are available for Android mobile phones and tablets.
The company is led by founder and CEO Kevin Payne.
