TribeHR Corp., a Waltham, MA- and Waterloo, ON, Canada-based social human resources platform for small and medium business, has raised $1m in seed funding from Matrix Partners.
The company plans to use the funds to develop products and expand its sales and marketing efforts.
Led by co-founder and CEO Joseph Fung, TribeHR offers a SaaS-based social human resource (HR) platform dedicated to small and medium business (SMB). The solution is designed to engage employees and managers in the HR process with tools to track employee development, vacation and sick time, job postings, and goal setting.
In conjunction with the funding, David Skok, partner at Matrix Partners, will join the company as an advisor.
