BVI Networks, a San Jose, CA-based provider of Real-Time In-Store Monitoring solutions, has closed an $8m round of funding.
The round was led by August Capital, with participation from existing investors.
The company intends to use the funds for customer base increase and further development of its in-store analytics technology.
Established in 2007 and led by co-founder and CEO Alexei Agratchev, BVI Networks provides RetailNEXT, an in-store business intelligence and decision support system designed to enable retailers and manufacturers to collect, analyze and visualize data about in-store customer engagement.
Customers include Brookstone, American Apparel, and PepsiCo.
The company operates R&D facilities in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.
