Lumicity, a London UK-based developer, owner and operator of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects focused on the sub 50 kW rooftop market, has raised £2m in funding.
Backers include existing investor Ludgate Environmental Fund Limited and ESB Novusmodus, each of which committed £1m as a combination of preference shares and interest bearing loan notes.
The company intends to use the funds to roll-out its established pipeline of solar projects.
Led by founder and CEO Tristan Fischer, Lumicity develops barn and car park rooftop solar projects in the UK. It has a project pipeline of over 200 sites, totalling more than 10MW.
In conjunction with the funding, Ludgate will take a seat on the company’s board.
