Pure Storage, a Mountain View, CA-based provider of all-flash enterprise storage arrays, has raised an additional $30m in Series C funding.
Samsung Venture Investment Corporation closed the round, which includes Redpoint Ventures, Greylock Partners, Sutter Hill Ventures and angel investors.
Pure Storage has received a total of $55m in capital investments to date.
The company plans to use the funds to accelerate engineering, operations and commercialization activities.
Founded in 2009 and led by Scott Dietzen, Pure Storage has emerged from stealth today to launch its flagship product, the Pure Storage FlashArray FA-300 Series, an all-flash enterprise storage array, which is designed for high performance workloads, including server virtualization, desktop virtualization (VDI), database (OLTP, real-time analytics) and cloud computing.
