SK Capital Partners, a New York-based, sector-focused private investment firm, has closed its first institutional fund at $500m.
With an initial target of $400m, SK Capital Partners III was oversubscribed and completed within seven months of its launch by an investor base comprised of a diverse group of high quality institutional investors, both international and domestic, including public and corporate pension funds, insurance companies, foundations, family offices and funds of funds.
Led by Managing Directors Jamshid Keynejad, Jim Marden, and Barry Siadat, SK Capital focuses on control buyouts, recapitalizations and growth equity investments in the specialty materials, chemicals and healthcare sectors.
