CareCloud, a Miami, FL-basedĀ provider of cloud-based healthcare management solutions, has raised $20.1m in a Series A funding.
The round, which was led by Intel Capital with participation from Norwest Venture Partners, also includes an approximately $3.8m conversion of debt to equity.
Founded in 2010 by CEO Albert Santalo, CareCloud offers a cloud-based healthcare management solution which provides medical practices with a comprehensive and secure system that unifies clinical, financial, and administrative workflow.
The company, which currently services more than 1,000 physicians and other healthcare providers throughout the United States, plans toĀ introduce its EMR, launch new apps this year andĀ hire new people.
