Echoecho, a Los Angeles and London-based developer of a location-based mobile application for finding friends in the real world, has closed $750k in seed funding.
Investors include Google Ventures and PROfounders Capital.
The company intends to use the funds for product development, hiring and scaling operations.
Launched in August 2011 by CEO Nick Bicanic and Head of Product Andrew Wanliss–Orlebar, Echoecho is a location-based mobile application for finding friends’ current location and sharing yours.
The service works across multiple platforms including Android, iPhone, Blackberry, and Nokia.
An API is available to developers.
