Lucierna, a Barcelona, Spain-based provider of Application Performance Management Software across the application lifecycle for business critical Java, .NET & PhP applications, has raised €1.5m in equity funding.
Backers include Inveready Group (via Inveready Seed Capital, Inveready First Capital I) and Caixa Capital Risc (via Caixa Capital Micro), as well as the company’s founders.
Launched in May 2009, Lucierna offers a cloud-based solution designed to protect software investments by simplifying maintenance and troubleshooting, reducing defect resolution time. Its flagship product, Antorcha, detects bottlenecks, crashes, critical exceptions (both handled and unhandled) and performance degradations of production applications.
The company, which is run by Manuel Lopez, Alejandro Gonzalez, Abraham Nevado, and Juan Mahillo, currently operates in Spain, UK, Germany and Italy, plans to expand in America.
Among the others, clients include Race, InverCaixa, Indra, Everis and Accenture Italy.
