Prism Skylabs, a San Francisco, CA-based technology start up, has raised $1.5m in seed funding.
Investors include CrunchFund, Yuri Milner, Garrett Camp, Aaron Patzer, Eric Schmidt’s Innovation Endeavors and Ron Conway’s and David Lee’s SV Angel.
Founded by CEO Steve Russell and President Ron Palmeri, Prism Skylabs focuses on bringing physical spaces online, and creating new places for people and businesses to understand and engage each other. Its cloud service taps into existing video to create real-time summaries, or storyboards, designed to understand and explore places including large retailers or local coffee shops.
