Diagnovus, LLC, a Nashville, Tennessee-based newly formed molecular diagnostics company, has closed a seed financing round of undisclosed amount.
Founding investors are Limestone Fund and TriStar Technology Ventures.
Diagnovus, which targets rare forms of cancer, including pediatric cancers, plans to identify, in-license, develop and commercialize diagnostic assays that have been developed at leading institutions around the United States.
Diagnovus’ first full-time employee will be James Stover, Ph.D., who is leaving his position as Vice President of Tennessee Technology Development Corporation and will join as Vice President of Business Development.
