Shaker, an Israel and San Francisco, CA-based startup that allows users to more easily connect and share on Facebook, has closed a $15m financing.
The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from CrunchFund, Innovation Endeavors, and Pitango.
Founded in Israel by Gad Maor, Arik Ben-Ari, Eldad Abel, Jonathan Carse, Adam Rakib, Vossi Sadoun, Meishar Meiri, CTO Ofer Rundstein, and CEO Yonatan Maor, Shaker created virtual rooms that allow users to connect on Facebook more dynamically by sharing with friends and friends of friends.
The company won the latest edition of TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco ($50k).
