Siklu Inc., a Petach Tikva, Israel-based provider of scalable and flexible carrier-grade millimeter wave Gigabit Ethernet radio solutions, has closed a $19m Series B funding.
Backers include new investors Amiti Ventures, Qualcomm Incorporated and another undisclosed strategic investor and existing investors DFJ- Tamir Fishman Ventures, Evergreen Venture Partners and Argonaut Private Equity.
The company intends to use the funding to continue to develop its products and expand its marketing and sales activities to the U.S. and Indian markets.
Led by Izik Kirshenbaum, co-founder, chairman and president, and Itzik Ben-Bassat, CEO, Siklu carriers with Gigabit Ethernet radio solutions, which leverage Silicon-based Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) system technologies.
In conjunction with the funding, Ben Rabinowitz, Managing Partner at Amiti Ventures, will join Siklu’s Board of Directors.
