Kicksend, a Mountain View, CA-based provider of a service for the real-time sharing of large files, recently closed its seed funding.
The round was led by True Ventures, with participation from Digital Garage, SV Angel, Start Fund and Jack Abraham, founder of Milo.com.

Co-founded in March 2011 by Brendan Lim and Pradeep Elankumaran, and then successfully incubated in Y Combinator,
Kicksend allows users to send files of any size in real-time, opening a desktop or web app, entering the recipient’s email address, and either selecting or dragging and dropping the file.
The service was launched in beta in August 2011.
