Snipi Inc., a Philadelphia, PA-based company that does business as Sidecar and operates an automated online marketing platform for e-commerce companies, has closed a $2.52m Series A funding.
According to a written statement, the round was led by Innovation Ventures, with participation from ARC Angel Fund, NextStage Capital, MAG Fund, Gabriel Investments, Michael Rubin and investors and angels from the mid-Atlantic region.
The company intends to use the funding for business operations expansion.
Led by founder and CEO Andre Golsorkhi, Sidecar has automated four key components of online marketing (Paid Search, Comparison Shopping, On-site Personalization and Personalized Email) to enable online retailers to make data-driven marketing decisions through a single platform.
Clients include retail brands and online retailers including Linens ‘n Things, Rocawear, National Jean Company and Abe’s of Maine, etc.
