Trustpilot, a Åbyhøj, Denmark-based provider of a service that allows users to share their experiences with online shopping, has raised €3.3m in venture funding.
Backers include SEED Capital and Northzone.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing activities throughout Europe with the purpose of becoming the dominant player in Europe, and then globally, as well to strengthen its organization with international competences (http://www.trustpilot.com/Jobs).
Launched in 2007 and led by CEO Peter Holten Mühlmann, Trustpilot allows online consumers to gain an overview of companies’ customer satisfaction and shares their own experiences. It also helps companies gather and show user experiences, and to enter into dialog with their customers.
The service is currently available in 10 European countries including Holland, France and England, where the company expanded after securing the previous funding (read here).
