ZocDoc, Inc., a New York, NY-based free online service for patients to find and schedule doctor and dentist appointments, has received an investment of undisclosed amount from GSV Capital Corp. (Nasdaq:GSVC).
Founded in 2007 by CEO Cyrus Massoumi, COO Oliver Kharraz, MD, and CTO Nick Ganju, as a service to help people find and make dentist appointments in New York, the company currently offers primary care, dermatologist, eyedoctor, ENT, orthopedist, OB/GYN, allergist,podiatrist, cardiologist, pediatrician, radiologist and psychiatrist appointments. Today, it also operates in Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Houston, Phoenix, Washington, DC, Atlanta, San Francisco, Boston and Miami.
