Elco SpA, a Carsoli, Aquila, Italy-based a manufacturer of printed circuits for electronic systems, has received a €5m equity investment from Fondo Italiano di Investimento.
Fondo Italiano is acquiring a minority stake in the company.
Elco intends to use the proceeds to grow organically, with the development of its European facilities, and through acquistions of competitors in Italy and abroad.
Founded in 1970 and led by CEO and majority shareholder Carlo Guidetti, the company currently employs 330 people and has a turnover of €26m. It currently has a presence in France, Spain and China.
