InterRisk Solutions, a Wirral, UK-based business developing a new model in personal injury claims, has received an of undisclosed amount of funding.
Backers include EV-managed North West Fund for Venture Capital, with participation from unnamed private investors.
The funding will be used to develop the business further – including the creation of a new UK claims web portal that utilizes a bespoke automated claims system.
Founded by insurance law specialist Mark Brickles, InterRisk provides an alternative to the conventional system in which claimants use a solicitor on a “no win no fee” basis. The company differently allows claimants to manage the claim themselves by guiding them through an online process with support from a telephone helpline.
InterRisk Solutions, which has also been joined by incoming chairman Andrew Redmond has already won the support of a number of large companies who are regularly subject to claims including transport operators, retailers, local authorities and utility businesses.
