Ringio, a McLean, Va.-based cloud solution that combines unified communications, mobile services, social media, and CRM technologies to improve qualitative aspects of customer phone calls, has raised $100k from the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) GAP Funds (http://www.citgapfunds.org/).
Led by CEO Sam Aparicio, Ringio provides small- and medium-sized businesses with a SaaS-based CRM small business phone system that collects, manages and presents in real-time the most relevant pieces of information about the person calling.
The service works by offering customers a toll-free number that automatically answers and routes their phone calls in a personalized, professional manner, to the preferred phone of the most relevant employee. The Ringio service is offered directly to small businesses and through white label distribution channels.
CIT GAP Funds makes seed-stage equity investments in Virginia-based technology and life science companies with a high potential for achieving rapid growth and generating significant economic return.
