Nimble, a Santa Monica, CA-based social business platform, has raised $1m in funding.
Backers include Google Ventures and angel investors including Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Jason Calacanis, Don Dodge, Dharmesh Shah, and others.
Created in 2009 by CRM expert and GoldMine co-founder Jon Ferrara (CEO), Nimble provides a solution designed to allow small businesses to collaborate more efficiently, and to listen and engage with their community to attract and retain customers.
Combining the power of traditional CRM and social media with its web-based social CRM platform, Nimble enables users to unify all their contacts, calendars, conversations from Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google, monitor them from one screen, engage prospects, and grow relationships.
To date, the company has expanded in Europe and Asia Pacific. Today it has more than 25,000 users and 2,700 companies, supported by 250 solution partners.
