Qualvu, a Lakewood, CO-based online qualitative research company, has raised $1.85m in a Series B financing.
Backers include Tango and High Country Venture.
The company intends to use the capital to continue to improve its technology (including advancements in qualitative video data coding, the mobile client portal, and client collaboration and sharing tools that enable instant global syndication of research insights), and expand its operational capabilities to support an expanding client base in Europe. Qualvu has opened an office in Dublin to serve Europe and the UK, and plans to have a European-based staff of 17 before the end of 2012
Led by Founder and CEO John Williamson, Qualvu provides an online and mobile video-based platform to enable multi-language, global research that drives marketing and product decisions for enterprise, advertising, and research clients.
In conjunction with the financing, Chris Marks, a partner with High Country Venture, has joined the company’s board.
