TrueBridge Capital Partners, a Chapel Hill, North Carolina-based alternative asset investment firm, has closed its second venture capital and growth equity fund-of-funds, at $342m.
TrueBridge-Kauffman Fellows Endowment Fund II, L.P., which exceeded both its initial target and the size of its first fund, received commitments from new and existing limited partners, which include foundations and endowments, private and public pension funds, asset management firms, and high net-worth individuals from the United States, Asia, Australasia, and Europe.
Established in 2007 by co-founders Edwin Poston and Mel Williams, TrueBridge currently manages over $700m in assets across its funds-of-funds. It partners with the Kauffman Fellows Program, an educational non-profit organization focused on identifying and educating future venture capital professionals.
