TRUSTe, a San Francisco, Calif.-based privacy management solutions provider, closed a $15m Series C Financing Round.
The round was led by Baseline Ventures, with participation from existing investors Accel Partners, DAG Ventures and Jafco Ventures.
The company plans to use the funds to expand to accelerate the development of new technologies, expand its international operations, and invest in additional sales and operations staff (http://www.truste.com/about_TRUSTe/careers).
Led by Chris Babel, TRUSTe provides a suite of privacy services to help businesses build trust and increase engagement across all of their online channels – including websites, mobile applications, advertising, cloud services, business analytics and email marketing. It is used by over 4,000 web properties including those from companies like Apple, AT&T, Disney, eBay, HP, Microsoft, Nationwide and Yelp.
