vLex, a Barcelona, Spain-based provider of global legal information, has raised €4m in funding.
The round was led by Caixa Capital Risc, with participation from current investors. Plan Avanza and ENISA provided public funding.
The company intends to use the funding to expand the business in Latin America.
Led by CEO Lluis Faus, vLex gives access to content from 96 countries in 10 different languages. It has agreements with global publishers, such as World Bank Publications Office, European Union, Commonwealth Secretariat, and more than 60 independent publishers all over the world.
With offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Bogotá y México DF, the company has more than 150 employees from more than 30 nationalities.
